For Families

Our Aspen family packages have been an official hit since 2010

Both parents and adults experience a ski holiday where everything is taken care of with particular emphasis on daily transfers and supervision to and from ski school for the kids. Once the kids have had breakfast and are ready to go, you’ll hand them over to us. This leaves parents ready to hit the slopes with other parents and our on-snow team straight away. No more to and from Ski School for the adults. You’ll re-claim that valuable ski time while safe in the knowledge that our experienced kids team will bring your little treasures home safe and sound at the end of the day! We’ll also assist with afternoon and evening child-minding and other kids activities too.

With the kids team running around with your kids, you’re able to join our on-snow program without missing valuable on-snow time. We’ve planned our family tours very carefully and created each January family package ensuring there’s lots of family time as well as lots of ski time. Our Aspen family packages run for 10, 15 or 20 nights, all starting on January 6th. Adults experience a fully guided and instructional on-snow program with a minimum of 5 hours on-snow per day with our team of Aspen instructors.

Day 1: Arrival Day
A big welcome to Aspen. Arriving at Aspen airport, our team will be ready and waiting to meet
you and your family. We’ll then transfer you in our private cars to your accommodation. Today has been deliberately designed to be a gentle pace after your journey to get to Aspen. Settle into your accommodation with your family as your ski holiday is just beginning.

Day 2: Welcome & Orientation Day
Today begins with all families getting together for a meet and greet. Kids then head off with our kids team to begin making friends and start the fun and games. We’ll provide you with your lift passes and you’ll learn more about the days to come. We’ll also help set you up with any rental equipment or arrange your new FREE skis from Aspen Sports. The afternoon is set aside for you to have a warm up ski with you family. This is a gentle ski on Aspen Mountain for anyone interested in making a few turns. Our host team will be available on-snow to guide you to get your bearings for a few hours.

From 7pm we have arranged a welcome party for you, hosted by Aspen Sports in their main store. Free drinks and food combined with advice and deals for our guests – available exclusively for you for the evening.

Day 3: First on-snow day – Skiing at Buttermilk
Kids and adults meet together on the first offical on-snow day to head to Buttermilk together. Adults meet our instructing team and before you depart for your first full day of skiing, you’ll experience the kids sign-in process with our kids team at the ski school. We feel it’s extremely important for parents to see the morning routine so you have full confidence that we’re taking great care of your little ones.

As soon as you complete the kids sign-in process, you’re away skiing Buttermilk for the day. The on-snow team will build you up for the rest of your trip today making sure you’re properly warmed up and ready for the next few weeks. You’ll see that our on-snow groups are extremely flexible. The instructing team will initially divided groups by ability, speed and daring – but you’ll have the opportunity to change groups to push yourself, take it easy or ski with partners and friends. Our group sizes are limited to 6 guests per instructor – a great sociable size allowing plenty of focus on you. At the end of the ski day, you re-join our kids team to witness the pick-up process, then we’ll all return home together. You’ll then prepare for another welcome party – thanks to Frias Properties of Aspen. Food and drinks is provided for both adults and kids.

Adults: It’s our final day skiing Snowmass today. By now you’ll have hopefully skied most if not all of Snowmass areas and found some favourite places to ski. Get the on-snow team to re-visit various runs and give it a nudge with the terrain and speed to see how you perform. You’ll have had the opportunity to build on certain skills in your own skiing over the last few weeks so push yourself and enjoy today.

Adults: Meet the team at the base of Highlands and decide: The Bowl? Deep Temerity? Scarlett’s bumps? High-speed groomers? Or is it time to do them all! There’s a final night dinner arranged in a private venue to say thanks for coming and recap on all of the antics for both your kids and you. It’s a night to celebrate a fantastic family ski holiday all before beginning the journey home tomorrow.
